Emergency contraception

If you have had sex without using contraception, or if your contraception might have failed, you can use emergency contraception

Free condoms

A variety of condoms are available free of charge from the University Health Service (including latex-free for those with a latex allergy).

When we are closed, they are available from the accessible toilet on the first floor of the Old Technical Institute or DUSA Reception and toilets.

Remember, even if using other methods of contraception, using a condom prevents against sexually transmitted infections.

STI testing

Local testing and information is available from the NHS Sexual & Reproductive Health Services who cover Dundee and the wider Tayside area.

The University Health Service do not offer testing at the Support Hub but has partnered with the Terrance Higgins Trust to offer two onsite testing clinics per month, by appointment only.
