Coronavirus (Covid-19) guidance on travel (staff) – March 12 2020
Updated on 23 October 2020
Work/study-related travel
The University recommends against any work/study related travel at this time. Any travel must be deemed absolutely essential for work or study purposes, be for critical business reasons and must be subject to full risk assessment.
All travel (other than to and from University campuses) must be approved by the University Operations Group via Deans or Directors.
For more details and additional guidance, please view the document “Travelling on University Business Risk Assessment COVID-19 SUPPLEMENT”, located in the Sharepoint directory.
Personal travel
The University advice is to please consider carefully any personal travel, and follow UK Government guidelines
Incoming international visitors
Given the current uncertainty regarding international travel, visitors from abroad should be strongly discouraged from coming to the University until further notice. You may wish to consider online methods of holding such meetings, for example Teams.
