International University-related travel

All international University-related travel should cease with immediate effect until further notice.

If any of member of staff feels it is essential to travel overseas, they must seek permission to do so. All such requests in the form of a robust risk assessment and strong business case should be sent to Liz Rogers (e.rogers@dundee.ac.uk) and will be considered by the Coronavirus Working Group. However, you should be aware that it is highly unlikely that any international travel will be approved.

University-related travel within the UK

If you are intending to travel within the UK, please consider whether this is absolutely necessary.

If you no longer wish to take planned travel, the University has no problem with such arrangements being cancelled. As an alternative to travelling, you may wish to consider online methods of holding meetings, for example Teams.

Personal travel

The University advice is to please consider carefully any personal travel, and follow UK Government guidelines

Incoming international visitors

Given the current uncertainty regarding international travel, visitors from abroad should be strongly discouraged from coming to the University until further notice. You may wish to consider online methods of holding such meetings, for example Teams.
