The American Dream has long been an idealised concept in American society, representing the belief that through hard work anyone can achieve success. This dream has been celebrated perhaps nowhere more famously than in F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic novel, "The Great Gatsby."

Published in 1925, "The Great Gatsby" has become a staple of American literature, and its themes continue to resonate with readers today. The novel explores the complex nature of the American Dream and the ways in which it can both inspire and deceive us. In my submission to ISTD l delved deeper into the themes of "The Great Gatsby" and explored how they reflect the broader concept of the American Dream. I examined the historical and cultural context of the dream and its enduring legacy in American literature as well as the notion of the failure of the dream as it continues to shape the idea of the ‘American Experience’.

For another of my major projects, I designed the promotional material for the inaugural 'demsfest' - an electronic music festival in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
