About

Throughout my design work, I aim to encourage interactivity between people and objects in order to create personal memories. In my final year, I have created a novelty children’s book and a mindful wellbeing pack that communicate my passion for how play can inspire growth and help to build relationships.
As well as this, I am interested in using my style in a variety of areas across illustration such as packing, editorial and campaign design. Limited colour palettes, paper collage and interesting patterns and textures are combined in my work to create bold outcomes.
My inspirations draw from my love for fashion and textiles. The bold and unique surfaces that textiles provide when combined with image making is something I am interested in. As well as this, communicating with audiences through the use of paper collage is a large part of my practise. Collage is a fascinating, tangible experience that bonds the maker, the work and the end consumer together in harmony, thus creating a memorable and personal experience.
Drawing on these inspirations through interactive books and products has become a focus in my personal projects in which I create educational and safe spaces for children and adults to play.
