Andrew has been a Chartered Town Planner since 2005 having graduated with a BSc (Hons) from Dundee University in 2003. Andrew is a past member of the Royal Town Planning Institute Scotland Executive Committee and has recently assisted Dundee University, School of Town and Regional Planning as an external practitioner reviewing the delivery and content of the school degree programme.

Andrew is an advocate for planning and planners and is committed to delivering quality outcomes for people and places. He started his career in Glasgow and is now with Fife Council, responsible for supporting Development Plan preparation and delivering economic recovery strategies with the Scottish Government and partners.

Andrew continues to hold close links with the University and City of Dundee, advocating both, through work and personal networks. Born in Aberdeen, Andrew is married with one child and is a keen golfer.
