Scottish Dance Theatre’s ensemble of exceptional dancers perform Process Day by award-winning duo Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, a daring combination of cutting-edge choreography, club culture and fresh, unforgettable music, followed by Emanuel Gat’s The Circle, an explosive combination of dance and wearable art driven by a hypnotic score by electronic guru, Squarepusher.

This event includes a pre- and post-show discussion with members of Scottish Dance Theatre and academics from the University who have been working together to discover more about the physicality of dance and the brain activity of dancers and audience members. How do dancers process imagery in order to access different movement qualities? How does an audience have the capacity to feel what the dancers feel, empathise with them and understand their feelings? This will be a fascinating insight into the hidden connections between performers and their audience.

“Your imagination tingles: this is bold, breath-taking stuff performed by a company at the top of its game” The Herald
