Every year the web services team manage over 80,000 edits of our corporate web presence and a multitude of others. We work across Schools and directorates to produce solutions to problems that make a real difference to our users' lives.
This year we're undertaking our most ambitious project ever, completely restarting our web presence and building it from the ground up.
It's a huge project, but one that is designed to place us as leaders in our field and give our users the best experience possible.
However, we need your help!
We don't know enough about every single part of the University to design this by ourselves. So, we'll be trying to speak to as many people as possible throughout the project on a wide variety of subjects. From applicants to alumni and staff to funding bodies, we value feedback from all our stakeholders.
That's why we'll be giving our community access to our designs, thinking and research from the very start so that we can give as many people as possible the chance to feedback to us on what they like and what they don't like.
If you want to help us, sign up for our regular newsletter. It's where we will let you know when there are upcoming workshops, any surveys or testing you can take part in at your desk and most importantly, how to access our latest development site and send us feedback.
If that's not enough, we also write regularly on the Web Team blog about what we do and how we do it.
Getting your pages updated
Just because we're doing this, doesn't mean we're going to stop doing the business as usual work.
If you have content that is old or out of date, please get in touch and we can help you update it. If you have larger projects, get in touch so that we can discuss them with you. Let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
