After this series of talks, attendees will have developed a greater understanding of how COVID-19 has impacted upon dental services and dental research over the last 12 months.

In particular attendees will gain a greater awareness and understanding of:

  • The range of research work being undertaken at the University of Dundee to address the current COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting upon the dental profession.
  • The role of the Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP) in informing dental practices during COVID-19 restrictions.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in a short Q&A session with the speakers.

Development outcomes

This CPD course meets the criteria for the GDC (General Dental Council)’s development outcomes C.
