Festival of the Future - Alternative Futures for Communication

How might your identity and personality come across? People who use 'augmentative and alternative communication' (AAC) are working with designers in Studio Ordinary at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee. Existing future visions for AAC are dominated by brain-to-speech implants and artificial intelligence, but our collaborators don't see themselves as needing to be cured or fixed. So together we are exploring alternative futures. You are invited to join us to learn more about AAC – and to play with collage to picture future scenarios of your own.
