Archive Open Day

The University has an amazing archive for staff, students and members of the public to enjoy. 

On Thursday 12 September there will be two sessions:

10:00 - 13:00 

and

14:00 -16:30

We invite you to pop down to the Tower basement to see the wonderful collections. 

Be prepared to be informed and inspired as our friendly team will guide you through a wealth of material including a 15th century book of hours, records from Dundee’s asylums, information about workers in textile factories in the city and in India, letters from First World War soldiers, photographs of celebrities from the 1950s and 1960s, amazing artwork and more. 

You can drop in at any time, you don’t need to book, but if you are interested in a particular subject send us an email archives@dundee.ac.uk in advance and we’ll get relevant items ready for you.
