Kevin Frediani, Curator of our Botanic Garden

A talk by Kevin Frediani, the new Curator of our Botanic Garden, who was appointed in October 2019.

Kevin will explore the threads that he has inherited in his role as the lead for the botanic garden. A past that is clearly valued in the present, requiring careful consideration to help inform and consolidate its future.

This is not a talk that can be replicated, it is a talk that is being written as Kevin shares his early insights. while drawing upon previous experience, professional insight and local knowledge. From apothecaries’ gardens to zoos, from wilderness landscapes to the garden on the edge. This is a tale of sowing seeds and watching trees grow in a garden he has come to give away!

Friends of the University of Dundee Botanic Garden talks are free to Friends, others – donations welcome.  Except where shown.
