Doors Open at the School of Medicine

It's back and better than ever! We're opening our doors to the public - join us to find out more about what we do, how we do it - and then have a go yourself.

Have you ever extracted DNA from a fruit? Or wondered what teeny-tiny cells look like down a microscope? Or thought what doctors of the future might be like? And what about trying your hand at taking blood from one of the models we use to teach our doctors with? Well, now’s your chance! Join researchers, educators and students from the University’s School of Medicine to find out what goes on behind the scenes in our labs and in our teaching.

Free family-friendly fun from 11am-3pm on Saturday, 14 September 2019 at the Blue Promenade Area, Ninewells Hospital - follow the signs from Main Entrance.
