This free online course will help learners to deliver more compassionate health and social care.
Details: The University of Dundee and The Scottish Improvement Science Collaborating Centre have developed a free online course called Compassionate Care: Getting it Right, which will launch on July 17th on FutureLearn.
When this course first opened in October 2016, nearly 10,000 health and social care practitioners, third-sector professionals, managers, students and service users joined in and shared their experiences of delivering and receiving compassionate care.
It offers an enjoyable and enlightening continued professional development (CPD) opportunity for people working across all disciplines to learn about person-centred care and quality improvement. With 15 hours of learning over 5 weeks, the course gives learners the chance to hear from experts in the field and share insights from their own practice and the experience of others. They may also choose to take part in a research study to help increase the evidence base of knowledge around online learning and health & social care.
The course is open for enrolment now: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/compassionate-care.
