Lynette Mitchell leads a large team of administrative staff who provide admin support to all professionally qualifying programmes for teacher education, social work and community learning & development.
Lynette also provides executive support to the Associate Dean (Education) and within this role she contributes to supporting the strategic direction of the School.
Working within the Higher Education Sector for 16 years, Lynette is an extremely experienced administrator and leader.
In her spare time, Lynette is studying for a MA at St Andrews University.
Leading and supervising the Qualifying Programmes Admin Support Team to ensure a high level of service is provided to support programmes and maximise students’ academic journey from the point of application through to graduation.
Lynette works closely with Associate Deans, Programme Directors and Support Staff and liaises with Professional Bodies related to our academic programmes.
Ensures that policies and procedures are followed with regards to all aspects of academic programmes within remit including Professional Practice and Registration.
Responsible for ensuring that all students who commence on our academic programmes are registered on the Protecting Vulnerable Group (PVG) Scheme.
Provides executive support to the Associate Dean (Education).
