Our research has impacted many areas from government policy to professional practice which has ultimately improved the quality of life for many.

  • Within education we have influenced the roll out of practice within peer learning which has enhanced the achievement of primary school pupils in core skills, reading and mathematics.
  • Our educational psychologists have helped to transform trauma recovery for children in situations of ongoing violence that, until recent times, trauma recovery was provided post-conflict and was less successful.
  • We have played a significant part in national policy development, implementation, and practice rolling out guidelines that have enhanced the protection and support for vulnerable adults.
