Venture 2018 Winners
Nine members of the University of Dundee community won £26,000 of funding for their business ideas at the Venture 2018 competition final on Friday 23rd February 2018. All the winners, and two runners-up, will receive a membership for Entrepreneurial Scotland and be offered a place to take part in Elevator's Dundee accelerator programme this summer at the new Centre of Entrepreneurship.
Venture 2018 marked the culmination of the University’s annual Entrepreneurship Week. The challenge gave 52 students, graduates and staff members the chance to pitch their ideas to leading business innovators and potential investors. The Venture 2019 competition will open for applications in November 2018.

The formal opening the Centre of Entrepreneurship and a public lecture by Rector Mark Beaumont were some of the many other events to take place during Entrepreneurship Week 2018.
