Jackie Malcolm graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with a first class degree in Graphic Design. She has over 25 years professional experience working as a Graphic Designer within the Creative Industries.
Jackie established the successful Graphic Design consultancy ARC Visual Communications Ltd in 1999 and continues to produce creative and effective marketing solutions for national clients.
Jackie has been teaching within Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design since 1998, and has taught modules within the Graphic Design, Illustration and Design Studies departments.

2 Food as a ‘lived experience’ of contemporary society.
Current research explores the ‘lived experiences’ (Carolan 2010:1) of our communities, and the human behaviour that is now affecting the health and wellbeing of our species through food. Food has become a commodity for our contemporary consumerist society, constructing our cities and shaping public transportation services to serve the ‘edge-of-city’ supermarket developments.
