"How can technology be used to support people as they experience sensitive life transitions?"

Daniel Herron is a Joint-PhD student at the University of Dundee and at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia. Daniel’s research interests lie in how technology can be used to support people as they experience sensitive life transitions. His PhD research specifically explores the ways in which technology can support individuals in managing their digital possessions after a romantic relationship break up, as part of helping them move on. Daniel’s research is primarily qualitative in nature, and is highly experiential.

Daniel has collaborated on research with the Museum of Broken Relationships (based in Zagreb, Croatia), and has completed an internship as a UX Researcher at Facebook.
