Jennifer Cooper

I have a love for buildings, places and the juxtaposition between the concrete structures and the fragility of the people who have experiences in them. The trail of buildings we exist in represent an individual's life, with no two person's map being the same. These become our self-portraits. People are somewhat spores travelling through the structures leaving traces of our being behind. The buildings become us. Buildings stay and people leave.

My work is processed based. have explored a variety of materials, investigating shape and colour, falling in love with the three basic geometric shapes to represent architecture.
