Digital Interaction Design

Tom Kubba

Peak flow testing is an important part of monitoring how an asthma diagnosis is progressing, yet children often don’t take it seriously enough; failing to perform the test as often as they need to. My project will gamify this peak flow testing process through an iOS app, along with a spirometer attachment, making the peak flow test fun and engaging for children. This will ensure they complete the test, and parents and healthcare experts can then look at the data collected and see how their child/patient is doing.
