I am a Caribbean illustrator from the Cayman Islands with a focus on queer identity and expression in my work. I explore such themes through comics and character design, inspired by drag aesthetics, film and video games. My comics tell semi-autobiographical stories based on queer experiences and I aim to challenge myths and stereotypes which often hinder queer growth and visibility. Colour and personal symbols are my preferred devices to tell stories in both beautiful and ugly detail. I prefer the ugly because vulnerability is the backbone of my art and my hope is that people can empathise with or find new perspectives in it.

My work is produced in sculpture or pencil drawings and is edited with colour or collaged digitally. Themes of sexuality and gender are expressed consistently through my illustrations, comics and sculptures with a sense of humour and vulnerability.
