‘Consolidating Design with Natural Spatial Concepts’ is a thesis that explores the relationship between the built environment and elements of natural environment in a controlled setting. The purpose of architecture is to create an environment where it can influence the everyday lives of people in a positive way. Architecture attempting to strive for human ideals and comfort often strives away from nature. Through time we have constructed a reality where we are trying to overpower nature and gradually disconnecting us from it. We see nature from a distance without having the sensory experience from interacting with it. Taking cues from natural elements and integrating them into a built environment as well as having visual connections with the natural surroundings can diminish the interminable disconnection that residents have with nature and the outdoors improving their overall mental health and quality of life.
