Victoria Johanna Sanches

Inspired by Scotland's fishing industry, my work focusses mainly on capturing movement, colour and textures around me. The fishing industry is a vital but often overlooked staple in the cultural heritage of Scotland. Although it has been around for centuries, the industry is under great strain, not just on the economy, but on the workers themselves. Through combining photography and various print methods, my work captures a personal exploration of the individuals who make our industry and the locations which I have studied and visited.
