Scott Croager

During my time at DJCAD, I've developed my previous fine art skills to suit the requirements of design-based fields. As an illustrator, my work explores narratives and imagery related to mythology, fantasy, and sci-fi. My process involves developing designs and layouts traditionally, and then blending digital techniqes with hand drawn elements to achieve surreal compositions. My response to the Tapirulan competition brief. The task was to create a single-image illustration for the prompt 'Chaos'. My interpretation references the tale of the Questing Beast of Arthurian legend, a symbol of chaos prophesied to bring about the fall of Camelot.
