Illustration

Matthew Gow

My primary interest as an illustrator lies in creating narrative work. This usually takes the form of comics, often wordless. I'm inspired by the contemporary alternative comics and lowbrow scene, but am not limited to this pool of influence, often taking inspiration from everyday life, film and abstract art. During my final year I have become increasingly interested in using risograph printing when producing work, which I hope to continue to develop my skills in after graduating.
