Emily Thomas

My work is often identified by its bright colour schemes and visual style; I love adding smaller, intricate details to simple looking designs and artworks. I do, however, love being able to adapt and bend my style to the needs of projects and briefs and have had the opportunity to grow and develop this particular skill over the past three years. I specialise in book illustration, editorial work & comic making but I also have a keen interest in the art of tattooing, even having written my dissertation about tattoos. I am, personally, mostly familiar with black and white, illustration style tattoos but enjoy neo-traditional designs however have a strong appreciation towards all styles of tattooing. Typically, my work is produced as a mixture between traditional pencil sketches and refined, digital final pieces that can be changed and sculpted to fit briefs carefully.
