Fine Art

Rory Campbell

Having researched the Dada scene in Zurich as part of my dissertation it engendered in me a passion for the performative act. So on finding a piece of discarded marble I felt drawn to use it in a restructured manner leading to my new approach to performance . The resulting white cube space, lit from within acts as an apparition of emotional memory. This combined with the texts found on the drawings allows the viewer to perhaps see influences and personal takes which in coming together form a jumping off point for their own personal reflection and interaction with the piece.
