Mari Tveiten

The exploration of chaos and confusion within the human mind. The macabre, life, death and the morbidly beautiful. Through my artworks I try to express the fragility of human beings. The vulnerability of our minds, the darkness within us, and the process of decaying. While it may sound dark, the works are made with a light-hearted undertone, which makes it up to the recipient to make up their own meanings and reasons behind the works. I find inspiration in everything I surround myself with, and I therefore try to express this through my work. My fascination will always end up leaning towards the darker and more mysterious questions in life, which has resulted in my works these last semesters
