Emma Twaddle

The first portrait focuses on how our species would be affected by an environment devastated by nuclear war and how this would affect those facially that have survived. The second focussing on the development of technology in regard to artificial intelligence; attempting to discuss the line between man and robot, and if the two may ever merge into one. Perhaps this alternative future development leading to an all robotic species. The final portrait attempts to understand the human relationship between cosmetic surgery and the ability this could pose for us to construct our faces into however we can imagine ourselves to be.
