Graphic Design

Stuart Butler

This year has focused on three main projects. The concept of the first project is to bring a community together by utilising a set of abandoned railway tunnels as a live music and arts venue. The tunnels were remnants of the Beeching Cuts, with passenger services discontinued in 1964, and closed completely in 1970. The second project I’ve been working on is for Giffgaff’s D&AD brief, creating a brand experience around the idea of mutual giving, which I decided to tackle with a public jukebox which would travel the country to spread the happiness. Finally, I have also been working on a publication about bouldering, with words from a book by boulderer and philosopher, Francis Sanzaro.
