Architecture

Roman Paunov

My work aims to explore the correlation between urban architecture and society. I focus on the internal conditions of a key block in the historic city centre of Mons, Belgium. I look at pieces of public architecture that are functionally discarded but show potential for redevelopment. My goal is to find alternative solutions to existing urban spaces in order to revitalise the medieval city centre and by extension - benefit the local community.
