Wifi
Two wifi networks are available on campus to give visitors free internet access.
If you are visiting from another University/College with eduroam, you can use eduroam with your home username and password.
Alternatively if you can't access eduroam, you can connect to TheCloud by Sky. This is the same network available in thousands of pubs, restaurants and other locations throughout the UK.
Should you require extended access to University IT facilities including campus PCs, you will need a visitor account. Visitor accounts are available on request by members of staff.
AV technical assistance
AV equipment is integral to most rooms and included in the venue fee. Audio visual induction sessions can be arranged to enhance presenters' confidence. If your event is at the weekend is its advisable to request an AV technician for a couple of hours to ensure full technical capability.
All our lecture theatres include:
- dual projection screens
- PC
- laptop connection cable
- document visualizer
- Blu-ray DVD player
- clip on mics

For assistance with audio-visual or IT equipment contact IT on help4u@dundee.ac.uk
Delegate parking
As part of our green policy we have reduced the number of car parking spaces on campus. We have introduced car sharing projects and actively encourage staff to leave the car at home.
Conference speakers and delegates should contact HospitalityServices@dundee.ac.uk to arrange parking permit requirements.
Alternatively you can make use of Dundee City Council managed car parks nearby. For information on Dundee City Council parking charges and locations please refer to the Dundee City Council website.
Those choosing to use public transport including rail travel are reminded that the campus is a short walk to Dundee railway station and the city centre.
Residential accommodation
Up to 375 ensuite bedrooms are available on campus between June - August via Sanctuary Students. These rooms are modern, comfortable and well appointed.
Outside of these times please discuss your needs and we will assist you with local nearby accommodation. The University has a good working relationship with a number of local hotels only minutes from the city centre campus.
Physical access priorities
The University is fully committed to promoting disability equality in all activities.
The Dalhousie and Tower buildings have induction loops and assisted openers with level access. The University can provide pager systems for people with hearing impairments in all our conference venues. Accessible toilets are installed in key public areas and the Dalhousie building includes a joist and changing facilities to meet the needs of people with profound physical disabilities.
All blue badge holders are permitted to park free of charge on our campus.
