PTDF Scholarships Now Open for Applications

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) overseas scholarship scheme for Nigerian applicants is now open for applications. The University of Dundee is delighted to announce our continuing relationship with the PTDF.

The PTDF was established for the training of Nigerians to qualify as graduates, professionals, technicians and craftsmen in the field of Engineering, Geology, Science and Management and in the Petroleum sector. They aim to provide training and education to Nigerians to create competent and qualified local manpower for the oil and gas industry.

Applications are open until midnight on the 17 February, 2020.

The University of Dundee is one of 17 universities in the UK to be on the approved PTDF supplier list. The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee regularly receives applications through PTDF.

Full scholarships, covering flight tickets, payment of health insurance, payment of tuition and bench fees as well as the provision of allowances to meet the costs of accommodation and living expenses are available for the following CEPMLP degrees:

There is also funding available for a range of CEPMLP PhD opportunities in Oil and Gas Law and Policy, International Oil and Gas Management, Energy Oil and Gas Economics, Energy Finance, Petroleum Taxation and Finance, Managing in the Energy Industries, Energy Law and Policy, Mineral Law and Policy, Natural Resources Law and Policy, Energy and the Environment.
