International Mining Transactions and Agreements Module

Over the first two weeks of June, we had the pleasure to welcome Scot Anderson, partner, Hogan Lovells, and Adriano Trindade, partner with Pinheiro Neto Advogados, Brasilia, and professor at the University of Brasilia, as a new edition of the module Structuring International Mining Transactions.
This provided intensive and highly qualified exposure to our students to the complex nature of legal transactions and agreements commonly used in the mining industry.
Apart from the main presentations, there was opportunity to hear the perspectives from highly experienced practitioners as Diego Brieva, Cassie Boggs, Peter Leon and, last but not least, Andrew Lillie and Liz Titus, who shared their experience in litigation and provided tips for contracts’ drafting.
Feedback was very positive in terms of the outstanding delivery of this module and extensive learning outcomes. The module builds on the materials prepared by Paul Schlauch, who delivered this module for many years.
