Visiting Speaker: Ms Mireille Toulekima

Ms Mireille Toulekima is the managing director of the independent energy consulting company MT Energy Resources Pty Ltd based in Perth (Australia). A petroleum engineer by background, Mrs Toulekima received her Bachelor of Sciences from ISERPA (Institut Superieur de Recherche en Production Automatisee) in France (1995) and a Diploma in Applied Management from the Australian School of Management (2011).
Ms Mireille Toulekima visited CEPMLP recently to present an informative talk ”Local Content Key Enabler for Oil and Gas Projects in Emerging Markets”. The talk was chaired by Dr Manny Macatangay.
She has had an accomplished international career of more than 20 years in upstream oil and gas in a range of management and technical assignments in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa working respectively for Shell Exploration and Production International, Santos Ltd, Woodside Energy Ltd and Sasol Exploration and Production International on important oil and gas projects worldwide. She is a key enabler with respect to Local Content in the petroleum and mining industries and has worked with government representatives, energy council representatives, senior managers and corporate affairs representatives in emerging and developing markets to define Local Content strategies as part of key oil and gas projects.
Ms Toulekima is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), The Oil and Gas Council and the Global Women Petroleum Club. She is a published Author. Her first technical book “Local Content Key Enabler for Oil and Gas project in Emerging Markets” was published in 2015. Her second technical book “Natural Gas Strategies: the Role of Emerging and Developing Markets” will be published in March 2017.
