How to be a Citizen Scientist - volunteering in scientific research

Citizen Scientists are volunteers who get involved in real scientific research.  They help scientists to answer questions that they simply can’t answer on their own.  If you love science, always wanted to be a scientist, or are looking to try something new and learn new skills, come and join our ‘How to be a Citizen Scientist’ workshop.  The workshop will include an introduction to what Citizen Science is, presentations from existing citizen science projects you can get involved in, and a hands on practical session to give you a real taste of what it’s like to be a citizen scientist.
