Postgraduate Researcher: Archives, Digitisation and Copyright

Victoria has worked in several archives, libraries and museums over the last six years. After gaining an MSc in Information Management & Preservation from the University of Glasgow in 2012, she worked as a Research Assistant on Copyright & Risk: Scoping the Wellcome Digital Library Project. The project assessed the challenges and benefits of a risk-managed approach to rights clearance and culminated in an international symposium at the Wellcome Trust in September 2013. The results of the study and the symposium are available at www.create.ac.uk/archivesandcopyright.
Victoria is a PhD student in CREATe, the RCUK Centre for New Business Models in the Creative Economy, in the School of Law at University of Glasgow. She also teaches Law and Cultural Institutions on the MSc Information Management and Preservation at the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII), University of Glasgow.
