Philip Lord is Director, The Digital Archiving Consultancy Limited which provide strategic, policy, technical and practical advice on the business, technical and organisational aspects of archiving and preservation of digital assets. Previously he worked for GlaxoSmithKline where he led a series of related international projects to address digital archiving and related issues. Philip has also worked for Elsevier Science Publishers and has carried out work for the European Commission, a Consortium of UK Research Councils, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Wellcome Trust, JISC, The National Archives and the British Library. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the Royal Statistical Society.
