Caroline Brown is a history graduate who took her Diploma in Archival Studies at University College Dublin. She has worked at the Business Archives Council in London, the Rhodes Trust in Oxford, Edinburgh University and at the National Archives of Scotland. She is currently Deputy Archivist at the University of Dundee where she is responsible for much of the day-to day running of the archive, developing teaching and research links with University departments and overseeing the Archive’s outreach programme. Caroline is Programme Leader and Honorary Lecturer on the University's Archive and Records Management MLitt by distance learning and tutor on the Programme's first core module. She sits on the Scottish Records Association, the Scottish Council on Archives and the executive committee of the Society of Archivists Scotland. She has been a Councillor for the Society of Archivists and was chair of their Education, Training and Development Committee. She is currently the Chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee of the ICA/SUV.
