What kind of jobs do our graduates get?
Much of what our graduates go onto achieve is down to their own hard work and commitment. We provide a vast range of careers and employability related services that help our students prepare for their future. Those students that embrace all the opportunities that come their way will go onto succeeed.
With the right balance of academic knowledge, intelligence and determination, our graduates go on to join a wide variety of organisations, and work in the public, private and third sector. We are also starting to see a growing number of our graduates start-up their own business ventures.
The Destinations survey (DLHE) results below can give you an indication of the kind of employment and/or further study that our students are engaged in six months after graduating.

“My first 'real' job was with Hiscox in London, as a Trainee Underwriter. Hiscox is a well-regarded, FTSE 250 Insurance company. It was a really tough market place when I graduated as we were still mid-recession, so I was very lucky to get something that good. ”
“I currently work as a Research & Sales Coordinator for Cushman & Wakefield which is among the world’s largest commercial real estate services firms.”
“My new role at Sky as a Change and Service Experience Graduate will involve working as both an Analyst and Project Manager. Gaining exposure to a number of different departments within Sky, I’ll be able to hone skills in both areas before deciding on a career path. Plus my training will include the opportunity to study for either an ISEB or PRINCE2 qualification.”
“I'm running my golf tour operator business in Scotland, providing the most exclusive golfing experience for Mandarin speaking golfers. I joined the activities of the centre for entrepreneurship and gained lots of support from them. My supervisor Brian McNicoll gave me advice, guidelines and instructions on my project, which led me to launch the project very quickly. Meanwhile, Ms. Susan Scott (international service advisor) also provided me specific information with applying my entrepreneur visa (sponsored by Dundee Uni).”
