Keren Guthrie

Keren graduated from the University of Dundee with an MA in History. She also has a Diploma in Archives and Record Management from the University of Liverpool and has just completed a CPD module in Paleography with CAIS.

Keren has worked with us for over 15 years. Her main responsibility in the Archive is supervision of the search room - which involves advising researchers with any questions, supervising their use of the documents and dealing with reprographic orders. She trains new members of staff and the volunteers in search room duties and procedures and is involved in developing the Archive's outreach and education program. She is also the Project Assistant at Glamis Castle Archives cataloguing the private collection of the Strathmore family.

Keren has organised and coordinated several conferences for the Archives department. The most recent being ‘Memories, Identities and Communities’ which ran over 3 days and hosted 80 delegates.
