Frampton Event

  On Friday 17 March students from University of Dundee Architecture and Urban Planning took part in a Scottish Schools review with renowned architect and critic Kenneth Frampton. The event which was organised collectively by The Association of Scottish Schools of Architecture (ASSA) involved an afternoon of student reviews followed by a public lecture.     Students that had been nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medal 2016 were invited to present their work to Frampton and participate in a discussion about their work and architectural education. Designing Places Student Competition 2017

Two Year 1 University of Dundee Architecture students were part of a winning team at the Scottish Government's Designing Places competition, held on Saturday 11th March at the Lighthouse, Glasgow. Built environment students from across Scotland were asked to work across disciplines in design teams to create master plan proposals for the site of a newly built railway line in the Borders. RSA New Contemporaries 2017

Graduate artists and architects from the University of Dundee will compete for prizes with a total value of more than £40,000 when an exhibition of Scotland’s emerging creative talents opens this week. Architecture graduands produce plans to transform Scotland’s communities

Plans to transform Scotland, from its most remote communities to towns, cities and the urban sprawl of the central belt, are explored by graduands at this year’s University of Dundee Art, Design and Architecture Degree Show.
