Honourable mention in prestigious UIA HYP-Cup competition

Two fourth year students from the Wuhan Dundee Architectural Studies course has picked up an honourable mention in the prestigious UIA HYP-Cup competition 2018.  Zilong Han and Shi Yihan, who have been studying architecture in Wuhan for four years and will travel to Dundee next year to complete their studies, worked on the competition over the summer. Semester of success for architecture student Sophie

A third-year Architecture student from the University of Dundee is up for two national awards this year following a semester of success. Sophie Curran, originally from Auchterarder, has been nominated for the Royal Institute of British Architect (RIBA) President’s Medal, which is regarded as the most prestigious international awards in architectural education and celebrates outstanding design work.   On Friday 17 March students from University of Dundee Architecture and Urban Planning took part in a Scottish Schools review with renowned architect and critic Kenneth Frampton. Designing Places Student Competition 2017

Two Year 1 University of Dundee Architecture students were part of a winning team at the Scottish Government's Designing Places competition, held on Saturday 11th March at the Lighthouse, Glasgow. Built environment students from across Scotland were asked to work across disciplines in design teams to create master plan proposals for the site of a newly built railway line in the Borders.
