Our Sharing Good Practice Programme is a series of seminars, workshops and symposia to support personal and professional development for staff.

The programme is open to all academic and related staff and postgraduate students. We draw from our institution-wide networks, sector-wide connections, and broad team experience of academic practice in higher education.

We want to support you in achieving your personal and professional development goals to continue to deliver an excellent student experience.

See our full list of events for more details.

  • The Sharing Good Practice Seminar Series runs once a month and has a theme; this year’s theme is Scholarship in Distance Learning.
  • Current workshops cover wide ranging topics such as Voice Care, Inclusive Practice in Teaching and Fellowship of the HEA.
  • We can deliver bespoke workshops for groups on specific topics and these can be arranged on request.

Delegate quote

“The Keynote speaker was excellent and engaged me from the start. I left work on Friday feeling excited and motivated to enhance my own practice in order to impact upon my students’ experience. I have already acted upon some of my reflections, an indication of the success of the symposium”
