Gateway to Postgraduate Study
This series of four stand-alone workshops at the start of Semster One is aimed at new postgraduate students on taught and research based programmes and designed to introduce both Masters and Postgraduate Research students to postgraduate studies at Dundee. These workshops provide opportunities to discover the unique learning environment that the University of Dundee provides for its postgraduates and to begin the networking process so important at this level of study. Come along, meet fellow postgrads and begin to adjust to your new academic environment. Consider your role and what working with others (PG interactions) will involve; what it means to be carrying out research at PG level and how to tackle the level of writing and communicating expected at PG level.
You can attend all of these workshops, or choose those you feel are most relevant to you.
