What to do for free in Dundee

  • Tay Road Bridge - 3km walk on railed footpath from Dundee to Newport. Great river views.
  • The Howff - a historic graveyard right in the centre of the city - really interesting and a good place to relax for a while.
  • Seal Spotting - walk along the riverside to the Tay Rail Bridge when the tide is out and see seals lying on the sandbanks.
  • Climb the Law - great views from the plug of an extinct volcano
  • Balgay Hill - nature walk
