These events have been arranged to give you the chance to see the facilities and hear, first hand, what Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee has to offer. It is aimed mainly at people who are thinking of starting University in September 2013 and who will complete their UCAS application this year.
Come on your own, with parents, or as part of a school party. Everyone is welcome to attend including school students, college of further education students, mature students, parents, teachers and careers adviser.
We have a range of talks & tours covering all aspects of your time in Dundee. On our booking form you can arrange the day to suit yourselves, and if you wish to have your parents attend a talk while you tour the studios or divide up the events in any other way.

You may be applying to the first year General Foundation Course or you may wish to apply for direct entry to the 2nd year specialism if you have the minimum requirements.
The talks programme on the Visit Day is designed to give an insight into the structure and content of specialisms DJCAD offer. Some of you may be interested in one or more, so this is your chance to find out what we have to offer.

If you intend to apply to the General Foundation Course or are looking for advice on the content, presentation, submission and overall selection process come along to the Art & Design General Foundation Portfolio session at 11am or 2pm. (All programmes except Architecture & the Social Digital Programmes can be entered via the General Foundation Course.)

Architecture is part of the School of the Environment & is open to visitors. Please note Architecture applicants can only apply directly to this programme and cannot come via the General Foundation Course.

We expect around 2,000 visitors plus parents/friends, and booking is essential to ensure that you can attend the talks you want.
Yes - please register on arrival – if you have booked a tour please register where the guided tours begin, 5 minutes before your tour start time. If you are making your own way around the college please register in the main foyer and collect a map of the college.
