UCAS EXTRA and GTTR EXTRA 2011

UCAS EXTRA starts on 25th February 2011 and GTTR EXTRA starts on 15th March 2011.

These give applicants, who have used up all of their original 5 choices, but are holding no offers, the opportunity of making further applications and receiving an offer before the exam results are published and Clearing starts.

If you haven't yet applied through UCAS for 2011, you will not be eligible for Extra, but you can still apply through the UCAS main cycle until 30 June - visit www.ucas.com

UCAS will write and tell you if you are eligible for EXTRA. They will also send instructions on what to do next. You can also watch the UCAStv How to use Extra guide.

Our Enquiry Centre phone line will be open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm from 25th February to 6th July 2011 to answer any enquiries you have about available places. You can also complete our online enquiry form, and we will respond as quickly as possible.

We are a traditional Campus University located close to the city centre, with spectacular views across the estuary of the River Tay. We offer flexible degrees in a wide range of subjects and still have vacancies on some degree courses. About the University

Location

Dundee is situated on the East coast of Scotland, with direct rail links from most parts of the UK. (London is only five and a half hours by express train.) The location of Dundee is shown on our map of the UK in the travel information section.

Leisure and entertainment

The campus has excellent facilities including the lively Students' Association. We have the most extensive indoor sports facilities in any Scottish University (including a swimming pool, squash courts and conditioning room) and 33 acres of sports grounds, and there are lots of sports and social clubs to join. We are also perfectly situated for outdoor activities e.g. skiing, watersports, golf and hill walking.
