Step 7 - Welcome Week
Welcome Week is held in early September before classes start and when students matriculate for the coming academic year. For further information, see the most recent Welcome Week. Note: At some universities this is called Freshers' Week, Registration Week or Orientation Week
Step 8 - Matriculation
This is the term used at Dundee for the process of registering or enrolling as a student.

Full details of what documents, etc. are needed for matriculation will be sent to you by staff in this department once you have committed to coming here.

The matriculation procedures are organised by the Registry.

Step 9 - Late Arrivals
Through unavoidable circumstances (e.g. international students having difficulties obtaining a visa or undergraduates being accepted 'at the last minute' through Clearing) some students may not be able to arrive before classes commence and special arrangements will be made to fast track their matriculation and ensure they settle in as soon as possible.
