The University of Dundee offers a flexible part-time daytime degree programme within the College of Arts and Social Sciences. The College has a long and successful history of providing a more flexible approach to study. This has attracted large numbers of mature students and students who wish to study on a part-time basis. Students who enrol on the part-time MA Daytime Degree programme will be fully matriculated students within the College of Arts and Social Sciences.
The part-time MA Daytime Degree programme is taught on a modular basis within a two-semester academic year.
A module is an independent, self-contained unit of study and each module is worth a certain number of credits, normally 20, 30 or 60 credits. Modules are also categorised by level of study. We offer modules at Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.
By accumulating the appropriate number of credits at the relevant Level of study you can achieve the award of General Degree or Honours Degree.

To achieve this award students have to gain a minimum of 360 credits, of which a minimum of 80 credits will be at Level 2 (SCQF Level 8) and a minimum of 60 credits at Level 3 (SCQF Level 9).
